There were many inventions during the industrial revolution that "revolutionized" the way we do things :). These inventions are the beginnings of what turn out to be very important inventions today! Some of the many machines created actually didn't change that much over the years.486 Take the printing press for example, aside from a few changes to the materials used, the printing press remained virtually the same! The inventions of the Industrial revolution went down in history.

The Spinning JennyThe Spinning Jenny was invented by James Hargreaves. It was a machine built to make weaving more efficient. Since it can spin more than one ball of yarn at a time, it was greatly more efficient than old methods.

The Steam EngineThe Steam Engine was invented in 1712 by Thomas Newcomen. The steam engine was used for many things but most importantly it was used to pump water out of coal mines. The steam engine hasn't changed too much since the time when it was invented.

The TelegraphAlexander Graham Bell created the first telegraph. This was a machine used to communicate over long distances. The telegraph is not very popular today but its many successors are very much used.
